The arts have a range of local impacts, including promoting health, education and well-being. The national Taking Part survey has demonstrated the links between participation in cultural activity and community cohesion. Therefore this measure will focus on engagement by the adult population (aged 16 plus) that have engaged in the arts at least three times in the past 12 months.
