The dataset includes the total number of homeless acceptances, homeless acceptances as a proportion (%) of total households on the LA's Housing Register, counts of homeless households in temporary accommodation, counts of homeless households in bed and breakfast accommodation, homeless households in bed and breakfast accommodation as a proportion (%) of the total number of homeless households in temporary accommodation, the mean length of stay in bed and breakfast accommodation, and counts of LA dwellings let to homeless households in priority need. The denominators used to calculate the 'Homeless acceptances as a percentage of the total households on the Housing Register' and the 'Percentage of total LA dwellings let to households in priority need' variables are taken from the relevant year of the 'Social Rented Housing: Demand and Supply' datasets which are also available on the Neighbourhood Statistics website.
